Why the record is worth trusting

A resume can claim any number.
A ledger can't be backdated.

Elapsed, witnessed time is the one credential that can't be minted on demand. Everything below exists to make that claim checkable by someone who doesn't trust you or us, which is the whole point of a witnessed record.

Append only

Entries are added, never edited or reordered. No write path into the past, for you or for us.

Signed checkpoints

The ledger publishes signed checkpoints. Anyone can prove an entry existed at a point in time without our permission.

Witnessed, separately

A supervisor's confirmation is its own signed entry, not an edit to yours. Both stand in the record, each attributed to whoever wrote it.

Scoped at the door

A grant carries only what you agree to share, and never carries anything you didn't choose to hand over.

Revocation is public

Every revoked grant publishes to a list anyone can read, including the count.

What is this, for an apprentice or license holder?

Will my employer, school, or licensing board accept this instead of their own form?
We never claim that any board, school, or employer accepts this in place of their own required form. This is your own copy of your hours, kept alongside whatever official record they require, so you're never left with nothing if that official record changes hands or disappears.
What happens if my employer or training provider changes hands?
Nothing happens to your record, because it was never in their system to begin with. Your entries stay exactly where you logged them, witnessed and dated, whether the provider that ran your program still exists or not.
How does a supervisor witness an entry?
You log the hours and the task, and your supervisor or instructor confirms it. That confirmation is a separate, witnessed entry in the same append-only record, dated the day it happens.
Can an entry be backdated if I forget to log for a while?
No. Every entry is dated the day you actually write it and checkpointed the moment it's signed. If you log hours late, the entry is dated when you logged it, not when the work happened, which is exactly what makes the record worth trusting.
How much does it cost?

Is this only for trades?
It's built for trade apprentices, technicians, and licence or certification holders logging supervised hours or continuing-education credits. It is explicitly never for supervised clinical, counselling, or therapy hours.
Can I total my hours into a running number here?
Today the record counts signed entries, distinct weeks, and the span of time covered, not summed hour totals. Keep your own running total alongside it until that lands; the entries themselves are what a witness or a future employer can verify.
Who can see my hours record?
Only whoever you grant access to, and only what you agree to share. Access is yours to grant and yours to take back, and every revocation publishes to a list anyone can check.
