A journeyman's notebook gets lost. A provider's portal changes hands, or shuts down. Keep your own witnessed copy of your supervised hours or continuing-education credits, in a record only you control.
Nothing here is a promise you have to take on faith. Read the public revocation list or check a signed checkpoint yourself.
We do not claim that any board, school, or employer accepts this in place of the form they actually require. This is your own copy of your hours, witnessed and dated, so you're never left with nothing if the official record changes hands.
An hours log is only worth anything if it can't be backdated and if someone other than the logger signed it. That's the whole design.
Dated the day you actually write it. Free to start, no card required, and nothing you log is ever paywalled once it's written.
Your supervisor or instructor confirms the entry, a separate signed record inside the same append-only file. Not every entry needs a witness, but the ones that are witnessed are checkable by anyone.
Employer, school, or provider changes hands, closes, or loses your file: none of it touches your copy. You still hold every entry, witnessed and dated.
A notebook can be lost. A portal can change vendors or shut down. That's the one thing changed here.
| A paper log or employer portal | Pupul | |
|---|---|---|
| Who holds the signed hours | The employer, school, or provider, or a notebook you carry | You, in a record only you control |
| Survives the provider changing hands | Often not, the portal or the notebook can vanish | Yes, it was never in their system |
| Can an entry be backdated | Paper can be altered, portals vary | No, append-only and checkpointed the moment it's signed |
| Witnessed by a second party | Sometimes, on paper only | Yes, a signed witness entry anyone can check |
| What it costs | Free, but fragile, or bundled into a portal that can disappear | Free to start, $12 a month or $99 a year, never paywalled once written |
A comparison of designs, not a claim about any one employer, school, or provider. Keep filing the required official form: this is your own copy alongside it.
Plain numbers, no card to start. What you've already logged is never paywalled, whether or not you're currently paying.
Start free. Move to the Room whenever the record is worth paying to keep growing, not before.
Start logging your hoursElapsed, witnessed time is the one credential that can't be minted on demand. Everything below exists to make that claim checkable by someone who doesn't trust you or us, which is the whole point of a witnessed record.
Entries are added, never edited or reordered. No write path into the past, for you or for us.
The ledger publishes signed checkpoints. Anyone can prove an entry existed at a point in time without our permission.
A supervisor's confirmation is its own signed entry, not an edit to yours. Both stand in the record, each attributed to whoever wrote it.
A grant carries only what you agree to share, and never carries anything you didn't choose to hand over.
Every revoked grant publishes to a list anyone can read, including the count.
Published keys, a public revocation list, and signed checkpoints let a receiver verify a grant with our servers out of the loop.
Starting costs nothing, and what you write stays yours no matter which employer, school, or provider changes around it.
