Append only

Entries are added, never edited or reordered. No write path into the past, for you or for us.

Signed checkpoints

The ledger publishes signed checkpoints. Anyone can prove an entry existed at a point in time without our permission.

Null, never false

A claim we can't evidence comes back null. An absent record is not an accusation, and we won't let it read as one.

Scoped at the door

A grant carries only what you agree to share, expires on its own after fifteen minutes, and never carries what you actually wrote.

Revocation is public

Every revoked grant is published to a list anyone can read, including the count. No one else in this category publishes that.

What is portable AI memory?
A record of you that you own and control, separate from any one AI vendor's account, that you can hand to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or whatever you use next. It travels with you instead of staying trapped inside one product's memory feature.
How is this different from ChatGPT's memory feature?
ChatGPT memory lives inside your ChatGPT account, holds a capped list of short facts whose size OpenAI does not publish, and does not export as a signed record or work inside Claude, Gemini, or anything else. Your Pupul file is yours, exports as a signed record, and hands to any AI that can read a paste.
How is this different from Claude Projects?
A Claude Project is scoped to that one project inside that one vendor's account. It's excellent for work context inside Claude, but it was never built to leave Claude, and it has no consent or revocation layer of its own. A Pupul file is built to be handed anywhere, including into a Claude Project.
Can I actually revoke an AI's access?

Do I need to be technical to use this?

Is my file ever sold or used to train a model?
No. The file is yours. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and access to it is yours to grant and yours to take back. A grant only ever carries the shape of what you agreed to share, never what you actually wrote.
What happens to the file if I stop paying?
Everything you've already written stays readable. A lapsed subscription pauses new entries and the extra features, it never locks you out of what you already wrote.
Can I bring history in from somewhere else?
Yes, you can import prior context, but imported entries are flagged and never count toward the continuity the file proves. Only what accrues here, witnessed and dated as it happens, counts toward that.
Does this replace ChatGPT or Claude?
