Why the record is worth trusting

Entries are added, never edited or reordered. No write path into the past, for a teacher or for us.

Signed checkpoints

The ledger publishes signed checkpoints. Anyone can prove a lesson entry existed at a point in time without our permission.

A claim we can't evidence comes back null. A quiet term is not a finding, and we won't let it read as one.

The questions instructors actually ask.

What is this, for a tutor or instructor?
A record that belongs to the learner, not to your studio software. You log what you covered and what worked, the learner or their guardian can confirm it, and if they ever change teachers the record travels with them intact.
How is this different from a lesson-management app like My Music Staff or TutorCruncher?
Those tools hold a learner's history inside the studio's own account, so it stays behind when the learner switches teachers or studios. Pupul's record belongs to the learner. It travels with them, and no entry in it can be backdated.
What happens when a student leaves for a new teacher?
The learner keeps the file. Nothing is exported and nothing is deleted. Every entry you signed stays in it with your name on it, and the new teacher opens session one already knowing what was covered and what actually worked.
Can a new student bring a record from a previous teacher?
Yes. If a learner already has a file, they share it with you at the first lesson, and you start already knowing what's been covered. Entries a previous teacher signed stay attributed to them.
How much does it cost?
The software is free and your first client read is free. After that it is $39 per client read, $390 for a block of ten at the same rate paid upfront, or $1,990 a year for unlimited reads once you're running around 50 a year.
Can a family or adult learner revoke access to the record?
Yes, at any time, without asking you or us first. The revocation publishes to a list anyone can read.
Do I need to be a developer or install anything?
No. A learner shares their file with you, you read it and sign entries into it as you teach, and they keep it afterward. That's the whole footprint.
Does this work for minor students?
Yes, through a guardian. If the learner is a minor, the record runs under Pupul's Child mode, with a guardian consenting and tending it until the learner comes of age. See pupulcorp.com/for-families for that flow.
Does this replace my scheduling or billing software?
No, and it doesn't try to. Keep your scheduler, your invoicing, and your lesson-management tool. This is the layer none of those hold: the learner's own record, owned by them, that survives you and survives the studio.
